Android app permissions

The app is able to make some backups of your photos, movies, musics, contacts and calendars (from Cream Sandwich version (Android 4.0) for the calendars) to restore them on an other phone if you lost it for example. So she just needs simply access to them for creating backups. Don't worry, hubiC isn't a spy!

Thanks for your answer. So the app basically does nothing with the contacts- and calendar information, it just needs access to it so the Hubic app settings could be restored?

The Android app needs access to your calendar and contacts because she allows to make a backup of your smartphone.
You can indeed create a back up of the essential elements of your device to allow you to restore the contents of the latter in case of loss, theft or failure for example.
