I actually would like the opposite, i.e. command line access for MacOSX (and maybe Windows ?). This so I can plan syncs qt specific times or intervals via shell scripts.

There are already two that I know of:
LubiX by Dibo: https://forums.hubic.com/showthread....ient-for-Linux
HubiC GUI by Phoenamandre2: http://blog.phoenamandre.fr/inc.php?w=19&a=3169
There's also Swift Explorer (Java): http://www.619.io/swift-explorer

The Ubuntu One client was open-source. It should be possible to use most of the guts from that to build a really nice, integrated UI.

Hubic went for "We offer what they do but more and cheaper!" approach.

But ended up with "You give us less money, we give you more space. you figure your own shit out"

They need work if they don't want to flop and be nothing.

I came here looking for the UI for Linux, but it appears there isn't one. Dropbox and Copy have nice clients that integrate with file managers like Nautilus and Nemo, and have deb and rpm packages that are in the distro repositories. I've used them on Mint, openSUSE and Ubuntu.

Hello i'm new to HubiC. Great service for great price. Windows client works very simple and correct.
I installed linux beta client but would be nice if you can create also UI for this client like the Windows/MacOS one.
Works a lot easier, in my opinion. Also would be ready for upcoming Ubuntu phone. And would get away a lot of users from SugarSync like me.
They are nothing developing anything for linux.
Keep up the good work. Like to see your answer.

Thanks so far.
