I agree with this request. It would be great to have two modes for root directories : "synchronized" and "backup"

I have 500GB offer only to have my pictures in a safe place. I don't want to copy them to all my devices but only in the cloud. Besides, I would like to have a part synchronized with all my devices (I use dropbox for that but would prefer to have only one service).

It will be great to get backup tool, like WUALA.
And also, folder sync on demand, I mean not getting the file always sync but only when browsing the folder using a cache solution, always like wuala.
