Hi roikku,

Currently, webapplication does not retrieve size of segmented files.
You can found size of webapplication with our naming structure of segmented objects. But not all users use this "norm" to name her segments.

Vincent

Hi Everybody,

This question follows an issue reported by a user of Swift Explorer here:
https://github.com/roikku/swift-explorer/issues/13

Basically, for large objects (large enough to be segmented) uploaded using Swift Explorer, the hubiC's webapp does not show any size information while Swift Explorer shows the correct size.
However, if the object is uploaded using the webapp, the size has been reported to be displayed.

Using the OpenStack API, the size of an object can be obtained as described here:
http://docs.openstack.org/api/openst...ve-object.html

The "Content-Length" field of the header contains the size of the object.

Does someone know whether hubiC's webapp has its own way of handling large object size? (such as using a specific metadata created when the object is uploaded?).

Cheers,
roikku
