Yes - I remember I had to read the instructions twice...

My extra space did not take very long at all, in fact, I bet you have this by now...

Aaaaaaaaaaa I realised what the suggestion meant now. When upgrading, the country in the dropdown was set to France. So instead of setting it to UK, first set it to a completely different country, like Vanuatu, then set it to UK, and magically the postcode and landline (?!) seems to work.

Have upgraded now. Still waiting for the extra space to show up though...

Hello

I was hoping hubic could be a decent alternative to dropbox. But I have the same problem with upgrading. It doesn't recognise my postcode or landline (why the heck a landline is mandatory confuses me too, but anyway...)

The suggestion to edit profile and change country to united kingdom I would like to try. But there is no such option in my hubic profile. Where is this???

Hi Trapper,

I understand why we don't reproduce this issue : we didnt speak about the same page.
So, We reproduce the bug and we will fix it for the next release.

Before this release, there is a tip to validate your changes :
- Edit your profile
- Change your country to another country
- Re-change your country to "United Kingdom'
- Click on submit and it will succeed

...Actually scratch that, When I removed focus from the field, the number was not accepted....

This was the same phone number as was accepted originally.

This would also prevent me from updating my details, as the phone number is not accepted.

This question has been asked many times, but has never been answered...

I had the same trouble, and I think it was either:

+20 122970xxxx (ie with a space after the country-code, no other spaces)
+20122970xxxx (no spaces at all)

which worked for me...

UPDATE...

Just checked my account, and the phone number is there with NO spaces at all...

i have a free hubic account with 25 GB space
but when i try to upgrade my account to the 10 TB, i got a weird problem with the registration
i can't finish my order just because my phone No. format is not acceptable by the system
i tried to write my number in many different ways, but it always give me an error message (The telephone number format is not valid (must start with the country prefix +xx))
i tried spaces, dots and even dashes
even i tried to copy my phone No. format from my OVH account manager, but Hubic page always reject my Number format telling me its not valid

my country code is +20. and my phone No. is 122970xxxx
how can i put that number in an acceptable format by the system
