The software is launched and the icon appears in the taskbar but all the windows are empty except for the exclude manager.
I have no menu and no status is displayed.
During installation all dependencies were said OK.

This should also be integrated with indicator-sync.

A work I've done :
tray icon + notifications + gui

I've done it for unity but it works perfectly on gnome-shell (using Ubuntu)

or at least some tray icon. It could indicate that hubic is enabled and is online, It could indicate update/download progress, or failures.
Today morning my machine lost connection for a short time, exactly at the moment hubic was authenticating, so it failed and did not give any feedback. I wasn't aware of situation so I put some data I needed into hubic folder and went out of home. The data didn't synced at all! Too bad I didn't knew.
PS: by the "try icon" I mean status bar of gnome-shell

I know this sounds silly and all, but a UI (like GTK or something) would be pretty nice for the linux client. It'd probably help out the people trying to get it running on linux and just can't, especially with having to create DBUS's manually.
